Parachute - Baby Squirrel
Parachute was with us for a week. He died in the loving hands of my beautiful wife ... who was diligently caring for him ... He seemed to be doing well, and then changed suddenly. His head injuries may have been substatial from the fall. We don't know, but we are glad that we could at least keep him comfortable and well fed during his short life. We will miss him and his little squeaks.

on July 20, 2008I have to be very careful to feed the baby slowly. Small little drops from an eye dropper seems to work best. When it's feeding time (every two -three hours), I rub him softly to wake him up. Then he will begin to look for a teet in the palm of my hand. The formula is warm and he starts to suckle.
